Pregnancy is a very special time, but that doesn’t mean it’s a walk in the park. Your body is going through enormous changes, so now is the time to treat yourself and get yourself in perfect condition, ready for when your baby arrives. Giving birth is a daunting process. However, there are things you can do to make it a less scary experience for both you and your baby. How we can help
Hypnobirthing teaches mums-to-be simple self-hypnosis techniques, as well as introducing you to helpful relaxation and breathing methods. You can be fully in control of your birth – it doesn’t have to be painful or scary. Seema will coach you and your partner on how to be peaceful and relaxed, removing fear and anxiety. It allows your mind to work in harmony with your body and helps to boost natural endorphins and the amazing hormones that make labour and birth easier and more comfortable, no matter what path your birth takes. Lots of people are skeptical about hypnobirthing but the results speak for themselves. You wouldn’t run a marathon without some training first – let Seema teach you some techniques that will help you through the biggest event of your life so far.
You’ll feel calm and positive about labour and give birth confidently, trusting your body, mind and instincts to do what they’ve been designed to do. Happily, it also creates wonderfully chilled-out babies too. My focus is to provide knowledge, practical tools and simple yet powerful hypnosis techniques so parents can fully prepare for a calm, positive birth. The best time to attend the course is when you are between 25 and 36 weeks pregnant, allowing you the time to practice the techniques before your birth. The techniques are still very effective even if you attend the course after 36 weeks.
